Please Research Zubulake v. UBS Warburg LLC, 2004 WL 1620866 (July 20, 2004). The court ordered the award of $566,839.97 in legal fees and costs associated with the motion for sanctions. The court addressed the lawyer's duty to monitor their clients' compliance with electronic data preservation and production.
