Thank you for visiting The Electronic Discovery Center- the internet's premier legal resource for everything related to the electronic discovery. If you've read anything at all about Electronic Evidence and Electroinc Discovery, then you'll probably know at least three things: 1) EED isn't on the horizon, it's here now. 2) Electronic Discovery and the laws that govern it, is continuously changing and big as well as small businesses are being impacted on the way they run this companys, and 3) Tiffing, Scanning, Computer Forensics and Electronic Data Processing can be realy, I mean really, complicated and expensive. So the question remains- who do you choose for your vendor services? The local "mom and pop" shop that just opened down the street that tells you that they can handle 3 terabytes of data processing to be redelivered to you in a concordance load file with a cross reference image file, or the more established national businesses found easily online?

The Electronic Discovery Center is aimed at helping you understand what the resources are, what the terminology consists of, and where the law is today. Consider us your primer for the newly initiated, and consider us your one stop information linkstop for the professionals that have been in the business for many years. We are THE electronic discovery information portal on the internet.

Some topics that we will be covering:

  • Electronic Discovery Due Diligence: Are you properly representing your client?
  • Online Document Management- what to look for and how to determine your needs
  • Vendor Selection
  • The Digitized Courtroom- projectors, plasma screens, and software?
  • Concordance  - Summation - Sanction - TrialDirector: What fits your firms needs?
  • Scanning, PDF's and Searching
  • The power of Deduplication
